Hueytown has had more penny items than I have ever seen/heard about...

cheerios, canned pineapple, chips, noticeables, and then publix hot dogs!!

I guess it is a good thing that I live very close and drive past it everyday!

This may seem silly, but does Publix have the penny item EVERY Monday and Tuesday?

I didn't see it advertised at my Publix yesterday.

Yes but not in FL. and I think it's only in the flyer you get in the newspaper, not in the ones put out at the store.

Hello!

I don't know if I'm behind about this info, do you guys notice that there's a mystery coupon that you can print out over the publix website under their weekly ads, its on the last page and if you click it you can print it and bring it to the store. This would be good especially for this week that we dont wanna buy some newspaper bcoz there wont be no inserts this sunday.

The other week I forgot my penny coupon and went to CS....come to find out as long as you spend $10 you don't have to have the coupon....just keep an eye out when you check out and remind the cashier if they forget. So for the last 3 weeks, I have gotten the penny item w/o the coupon.

Some cashiers are picky but most are cool. Last week the guy took off the discount before I ever even considered giving him the coupon, but I've had ones checking the expiration date on the one I gave them. And yes, the week I grabbed last week's by mistake, she would not take it. Overall, though, they're really nice about it.

I screwed up and bought the Sunday edition yesterday, not even thinking about no coupons, and am still kicking myself, since (according to the spreadsheet) this is soda week, which is way less than the paper. .ol
