I'm exactly the same....Panhandle, Santa Rosa County, sales from Wedn-Tues.
OK, of the stores in FL, the folks in the panhandle are the "early birds" (sales start on Wednesdays). Their flyer covers stores in these counties: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay.
Leon county (Tallahassee) gets a flyer all its own, and its sales start on Thursdays.
The next region to the east encompasses Lake City, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Daytona Beach, and Orlando. Sales start on Thursdays, and the region consists of these counties: Columbia, Nassau, Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler, Marion, Seminole, Orange, Alachua, Brevard, and Volusia.
I haven't checked thoroughly, but it looks like no other area in Florida outside of the panhandle has sales that start on Wednesdays (if yours does, please post!).
I think we can safely say that the majority of Publix stores (out of all states) start on Thursdays. Yes, stores in AL, TN, and SC start on Wednesdays, but FL and metro Atlanta combined have a much larger number of stores.
Since February, Publix has added 4 stores in Florida gainedand Georgia lost 1 . I've updated the counts in post #1.
