I am able to use both in central florida. The person at CS was probably not the manager. I would speak to him/her. Sometimes a cashier will give me a hard time about target q's and as soon as I say Ed says it's OK they back down. Publix is very customer oriented so I would try to speak to the manager.
To all of you in the Huntsville, AL area, will Publix allow you to use the coupons from the Target site as store coupons? By the way, I'm in Decatur, but never tried this. I'm new to Publix.
I got an e-mail from the store manager that he was very sorry about the situation and that I was correct - you can use both coupons. He is going to talk to his customer service staff, blah blah blah. WHOOOO score one!
I live in metro Atlanta and the three stores I frequently shop at will NOT allow both coupons on one item. At each store I involved the manager and was turned down. I am going to print out and start carring around their policy with me. You would think they would know their own store policy!
The manager agreed with the cashier - at least I'm pretty certain it was the manager - I should have read her name tag - she was up at the customer service desk and pretty official looking.
I think I may e-mail Publix and ask them and let them know.
I had the same thing happen to me at one of my stores the other day, too. Manager ( and he was a manger) agrred with the cashier and said nope one or the other..?? I left a post here but no one answered me:frown:

You would be substituting the Target store coupon for the Publix store coupon, but same principle.
Just to be clear, you can use one manufacturer's plus one store coupon on each item, as long as there is no wording on the coupons prohibiting it. That is, a mfr plus one Publix OR competitor coupon on that item.
I will print this out in case I need to go back to the store that told me no Mq and Publix Cp... but most of MQ say "No other coupons" and that's why the manager wouldn't accept it, the publix CP did not say that, is that still okay per the policy above ?? Just making sure, like I said I argued with cashier, 2 CS people and a manager and they said no, went to my store that I regularly use and no problem at all
