cheap Smart Balance milk

it is 2/$6 right now. there have been blinkies for 1/1 in the store for a few weeks and a Publix 1/1 is in the pyramid booklet. SO:

2 milks= $6
-2 MQs (2)=4
-2 PQs (2) = $2 for ONE gallon of milk!

AND, the expiration date on the SB milk is much longer than on Publix milk. so you can stock uo for a few weeks!

According to the database, there was a $1/1 milk in the 06-22 RP and either $0.50/1 or $1/1 any product (other than the spread) in the 08-10 RP.

I just came back from Publix and got 3 gallons of milk for $3. Thanks so much for that tip. And I did ask at customer service how long that sale is gonna last and she said until Sept. 5. She said it is an Advantage Buy and is tied to the current yellow flier. Even though it is not advertised in there, as long as it has that little Advantage Buy sign on it it is valid until the yellow flier ends. So I guess I learned something new today... Just thought I'll let you know.

I think it has flax oil in it for omega-3's (which makes it taste a bit fishy to me, but for $2 we'll use it! Maybe the chocolate will hide it...)

I think it has a funny taste to it as well, but for the price I may have to try it again....

DH doesnt like it but the kids and I do! Cheap milk is hard to beat! If you have it with cereal you won't notice any difference in taste, if you think it will bother you.

thanks for the end date info! now, I know when to really stock up!
