Birmingham, AL Publix...anyone?

I live in the Leeds/Moody area and shop at Montclair Rd most of the time. For the most part they are really good. I try to go to the cashiers that I have used on other visits and I know they are coupon friendly and know what they are doing. I have gone to the 280 store and Deerfoot when I am in that area. Over all I have had good experiences at Publix except the Alabaster store. Mgr and asst mgr questioned coupons and the cashier even took the coupons over to the mgr and I felt like everyone was watching. I had gotten $300.00 worth of groceries for $90.00 and they started questioning every thing. Asst mgr was very rude.

Im in Pelham, AL. The new Publix on Hwy 52 is absolutely the best. I have had no problem whatsoever. The cashier's are great and even have asked me to teach them how to save "all that money".

You must be one of the many of my close couponers. I can tell I have several around where I live because the deals are slim to none sometimes-esp. if you wait a few days after the sale starts. I agreee with you about the new 52 co. road store-its fabulous.

for the ones that like deerfoot store. what is your secret for shopping there and not be given dirty looks and actually get a smile. i really hate that store. ashley and beth are the only bright spots. clay is nice but he caves under pressure and will not back up his word. the other cashiers are very rude and the group of them together cannot figure out a raincheck. i try to go when ashley is working and the stalker (yeah i am stalked by manager michelle spears) is not there. my sil will not go in there with me she said i am bad luck. so let me in on it. what can i do?

I am so glad to hear this. We must be close too. This is the store I shop at and was wondering how they were with coupons. I am new to this and will be finding out this week.

Anyone got a kellogg's gift ck offer to look at? Can someone check the addie for me?

I wonder if there are 2 different offers? Last yr mine was an american express gift ck and other are reporting that their last yr was a check made out to publix.

This yr I traded with a member in Wa and my info doesn't say anything about a specific grocery store.
So I am thinking I can do both offers.

The one I have (from a Publix in Atlanta) is the same address you gave. The form was on a 5"x8" card stuck in the mag. The form itself is only 3"x5". The form says just "gift check". The rest of the card outside the form is where it says "$10 gift check off pharmacy or health and beauty products for the store where you purchased any 4 participating Kellogg's products."
