Will Publix accept family Dollar cp??

I got a $5/$25 CP from Family Dollar in the mail today; now the flier had food etc as well.. does anyone know if Publix will accept this?? I know it depends on the store, but did anyone try it yet>>?? I spoke to my store manager a few weeks ago about Winn Dixie and he said they accept all those CP, but I wasn't sure about this one,...

Mine only accept other grocery store coupons.

I know this is weird, but I would think they would simply because family dollar does sell food. I would say go when you know a good manager is working.

Most stores will accept only grocery store competitor coupons. It is the Manager's call, so it can't hurt to ask.

Well I will go sunday and give it a try, what they gonna do..?? say No.. my manager that called me was very nice last week and told me all kind of tricks I can use at publix ( which most I already knew, B1G1 use two cps etc.. he said his wife tells him all this and he is totally up for everyone saving $$, he said the manufacturs are putting the CP out there and Publix is doing their best to make the $$ go farther and told me where to find CP's in the store etc.. reall nice guy... so maybe he'll let me use that one, too... But I know every store is different, so will let ya all know sunday...lol

It's totally the managers call. At my Publix (well the one that's across the street from my house). They won't take any Walgreen's, CVS, anything except Target and other Grocery store.
I told one of the managers that Walgreen's and CVS sell milk, bread, ice cream, cheese, sodas, cereal, coffee, condiments blah blah blah and she said I know but my boss says we can't take them because they are a drug store. I said hello you guys sell drugs too.
I think it's a pant load, but oh well I shop at Walgreen's and CVS so it didn't really bother me too bad.

Okay we went this morning ( since there won't be any Cp in tomorrows paper and we had time today).. and they took teh $5/$25Cp for family Dollar, no question asked, the cashier took it said, they will accept all competitiors CP and was very excited for us that we saved $103.00 totall ( $38.00 in Man CP)... I was excited, too.. this is the first time we have saved that much..( I started about a month ago)... whohoo

I asked the manager on duty today BEFORE I shopped if they would accept the $5 off $25 from Family Dollar, as I pointed out that I DIDN'T get the Publix $5 off $30 that was mailed in the Huntsville area (to selective households, I guess). She asked if Family Dollar sells food and where it was located, and I replied that they have snacks and beverages and it is in 'downtown' Hazel Green.

She told me to tell the cashier that she approved this ahead of time. Cashier questioned me, but did accept it. My $27.85 order ended up being $6.21 oop, included the penny item (17 oz. Publix frosted flakes), 6 boxes of South Beach Bars (on sale for $2.50 minus the $1.00 coupon), 9 packages of David's sunflower seeds (free with coupon...I can't get enough of these) and a Huntsville Times Sunday paper ($1.50).
