Publix brand challenge info - post here (spring 2008)

I asked about this last night at customer service and she couldn't tell me specifics- just that it was going to be " cook out stuff, like paper plates" and it would be on an endcap with the Publix brand item next to the name brand item.

Awesome! Last time I got the soy milk. Does anyone know if they let you get multiples of the same item, or is there a limit?

I liked their last few challanges.. Thanks for the heads up about advertising early. I was wondering about that, since it was in my ad paper this past wednesday but nothing about it at the store.

If publix is true to form, they may also have coupons for the same publix-brand items. That will get real interesting at the register :).

My store in PTCY still had thier display cart out front and these are some of the products they had in it that I noted.
1) Heinz ketchup - huge size
2)Ocean spray juice
3)Quaker Oats Oatmeal
4)Crisco Oil
5)pinesol
6)Beneful Dog Food - Big bag
7) Mt. Olive pickles
8) Muellers pasta
9)Irish spring bar soap.

There were several other items but those were all note because I was in a hurry. Hope this helps.

I asked my publix and they said it would run for 2 weeks. This week would be paper items...napkins and paper plates ( he specifically stated). Next week will be all of the food items.
