Default Re: problems printing with bricks

I finally gave up on printing bricks with either IE or firefox. However, my DH suggested downloading Netscape. And guess what!!?? I can print from it with no problems!!! Woohoo!!! I am so exccited....7 months of no bricks...if I had
known it was going to be as simple as installing Netscape I would have done it months ago....go figure!! I also imported all my bookmarks from firefox, so I don't have to "find" all my old links...yahoo!!!
Away I go to print more!!

I printed 2 planters coupons and then wasn't able to print anything else. I had also printed out things from coupon.com. I am now unable to print any coupons from either of those sites. If anyone gets a line on why, I'm desperate to get my due!

Thumpdown Re: problems printing with bricks

Hi I have been following this thread for a while now and I have even emailed anyone associated with the site, i.e bricks and the companies who use it. I have only recieved one email back from Pillsbury and it was a canned response on security and pop up blockers...which are all turned off just so I can coupon By now Im sure we all know its not the security features on the users cp.
However, I do wonder if the coupons are just already printed out (print limit reached) by the time those of us who are having touble printing..are getting to them. Especially when there are people out there printing more than there fair share of them.

I had problems with it also, just didn't notice until after I posted it worked fine...half the bricks would print, the other half wouldn't, so I tried downloading Netscape and no luck! So I tried AOL and voila!! It works on all the sites I couldn't get to print...which were of course all the good coupons...my DH stuck his head in the door and shh'd me lol, I got too excited :P He just doesn't understand hehehe.

I'm suddenly having issues w/bricks too!!

Tells me to download the coupon generator...I click run...it runs, then tells me I need to connect to the internet first. Clearly, I am connected to the internet!

I started having trouble after I let my Norton Anti-Virus take off the cookie feature. After that, I messed and messed with the coupon printing installation without success, and the next time the Norton system ran, I told it to leave the cookie. Norton said this was a low risk, so I wasn't worried. I haven't had a problem since then.

I keep getting a message that I have to install the coupon generator. I keep reinstalling and then it shuts IE down and continuously loops, so I never get anywhere. I have to shut everything down and not even try to print it out again. Sometimes it works with no problems, so I can't figure out which coupons will give me an issue until after I try to print. It is SO frustrating!

I use Firefox as my browser and very seldom have any issues with Coupons. Com/Coupons B U G. com/Microsite Coupons. The only issues I have is with SmartSource. Perhaps one or two coupons I could print from them, and that's it.

It has nothing to do about how many people print out the coupons. Brick's and the rest of the coupon installers will only allow you to print out two coupons. At times you might get lucky and use the HELP button. There at times maybe an option to have the coupons mailed to you. If not go into Trouble Shooting and scroll down until you see FEEDBACK. Click on that, put in your email address and in the comments box, tell them what issues you are having. If it says, "PLEASE WAIT" and it does not move. Tell them about it in the Comments Box. They in turn will send you another link that will print out your coupon. If it does not print out, therefore the coupon is old and needs to be removed from the Brick's sites.

Brick's knows how many you printed out and once again will not allow you to get anymore than two coupons, but Please keep in mind, if someone else uses your computer and prints out the same coupons, therefore Brick's will stop you from printing anymore.

Hope this info has helped you.

What level of security do you have IE enabled for? It should run properly at the Medium Level Of Security. If you look at my previous post, I only use Firefox. At times I get that message also about downloading the coupon installer again, but I don't and I contact Brick's about it and they usually take care of it at there end.
