Luckily the cashier made up the difference out of his own pocket and I didn't have to run out to the car to search for more change. So my question is, did anyone else know the PC does this? I've gotten overages there before but usually with qs that don't double. I don't know when they started this though because I have definitely gotten overages with the .75/1 colgate coupons.
