Anybody Else Unhappy w/PC Ending $1 Doubles

We don't get doubles on our $1 coupons here, only up to .99 and the policies change so often, I can't keep up. Plus it seems to vary store to store and I have 5 Price Choppers within 30 minutes all doing it differently.

That is more of an area of contention for me than anything. I think all the prices at all the stores are going up and deals haven't been as plentiful as they were even a year ago. But I think that has very little to do with couponing.

I did read an article that farmers had planted the largest corn crop in years and that is supposed to help stabilize and perhaps lower food prices. I don't know that the savings will get passed down to us but we can hope.

My PC doubled $1 and it was so sad when I went there this week and they had the sign up stating the new policy. I don't think this store is gonna make it with the change we have too many other grocery stores to choose from on the same road that have lower prices and better sales.

Ours only doubles *up to* $1.00.

So they never doubles $1.00 Qs here.

In fact no stores around here do that at all.

If you're in VT, please consider posting a comment to the Boycott Extreme Couponing Facebook page. There's a thread started for posts re: coupon changes in your store which have occurred since the TLC show aired in December, 2010. Hopefully, couponers from all over the country, who have been negatively impacted, will list their stores, the specific changes, and the dates. We can all work together to get the TLC show off the air. An AP reporter is waiting for a list of all the stores and their changes so far. Please help! Thanks!

My PC would only ever double up to 1.00 total. So any Q .50 or more only would get you 1.00 off of your item.

There have never been any stores in my area that would double a dollar Q, except for when they run their infrequent coupon doubler specials, and then it's only 2 or 3 coupons allowed.
