I'm doing this: pretty boring but we love peanut butter
    15 Skippy Peanut Butters @$2 each=$30
minus two $.50/1 and two triples from ad=-$3.00
minus four $.50/2 (my store limits to four like coupons)=-$4.00
minus two more $.50/1 these should double -$2.00
    OOP $21 earn $10 cat

The cat is based on sale price at the Chop isn't it? Because I'll gladly rework this if someone tells me otherwise.

here one I just did---and I did it with the new sunday coupons-- Im sure it could go cheaper if you play with the numbers...

    3 Helmans $4.29 x 3 = $12.87(shelf Price)
    $2.99 x 3 = $8.97 (sale Price)

    2 Dove Shampoo $3.99 x 2 = $7.98( shelf price)
    $3.50 x 2 = 7 (sale price)

1 Dove deoderant $4.99 (shelf price)
    $3.50 (sale price)

    2 Sauve deoderant $2.29 x 2 = $4.58 (shelf price)
    $2 x 2 = $4 (sale price)

    3 lipton noodle $1.59 x 3 = $4.77 (shelf price)
    $1 x 3 = $3 (sale price)

    add shelf price
$35.10 ( I sure that you can get the total closer to $30)
    add sale price
    $26.47
    -$10 in coupons
    -$10 in cat
    -------
    $6.47

I had 5 --$1 coupons (from the recent sunday paper) that double to ($10 ) or if you have the triples from the flyer that would make it lower

plus the $10 cat that I recieved making my total $6.47--not great but not bad---
    hope that made sense....

    happy shopping....

    winter snow

Hi winter snow, just wondering if you could tell me what varieties of the noodles you bought. I had trouble at self checkout when buying 6 of the noodles and 8 skippys. I was not sure if it was the shelf checkout or possibly one of the varieties of the noodles were not included in the programming. (This happens occassionally at A&P with a new flavor of something that gets overlooked.) Just trying to figure the problem out.

    Here is what happened:

I also tried 8 skippy with a shelf price of $2.49 each and 6 knorr pastas @ $1.69 each for a grand total of $30.06 shelf price. No reward. I went thru self checkout to avoid the crush of snow shoppers and the cashier put in my coupons. The wierd thing was it was a totally different kind of receipt and "accounting" than the regular check out line. Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

Anyway, here is a working scenario that I did:

    4 Degree Men Cool Comfort @ 2.50 (2.99 shelf) - 4 * .75 MC Doubled = $4 OOP
    3 Dove Burst & revive @ 3.50 (4.29 shelf) - 3 * $2 MC = $4.50 OOP
    2 Dove Fresh @ 2.50 (2.99 shelf) - 2 * $2 = $1.00 OOP

Received $10 reward no problem and payed $9.50 plus tax. Although not everyone might have gone crazy and bought so many papers at least you can see these particular types of deodorant worked to help you create your own scenario.

    Hi Mom of Four---

I bought chicken broccoli and beef flavor-- Pasta sides.

Heres a trick for everyone that has unilever coupons but is too lazy like me to sit and write out scenarios----

When I see a deal like this one and coupons in the sunday paper that match up with the cats. I take all my unilever coupons and keep them aside as I walk thru the store. When I find a item that match up I like helmans--- It was $1 off 3--- I marked on the coupon the shelf price of $12.87. and sales price... I do this with all the items I want and while Im doing my basic shopping for the week---

then I take my stake of Unilever coupons and find $30 from the shelf prices marked on the coupons--- really easy to do, as we all know grocery are thru the roof--- If Im short I will just go back and pick up and item that I want to make up the diffrence

at the end --I split my grocery-this allso allow me to get past the 50% rule at Price Choppers--when I did this I found two $30 scenarios.

This wont work for everyone --- especially if you want to know what your spending before you enter the store--- but to me I know at the end Im spending less for things like soap that Im going to use.

FYI--- If anyone shops at Shaws-- they have an awsome cat deal going on.

    Hope that made sense----

    Happy Shopping

    A couple of things.
    1. skippy 25% less fat does NOT work-
Natural, regular chunky, creamy DO work for the cat.

    2. remember to just get a gift card instead of worrying about your oop. You can just roll your price chopper gift card and get a new one each transaction.

Attached are the deals I plan to do tomorrow. I'll let you know if I have any problems. As long as I've figured everything correctly, I should pay $11.75 OOP and $13.00 OOP and get back (2) $10 Cats, for a total cost of $4.75. I am doing separate transactions, just in case...I'm not sure if there is a limit on the cat? (Also, I guessed on the reg price of the Lipton Pasta Sides, but estimated low, just to make sure I hit the $30 requirement.)
