Price Chopper introduces the Fuel AdvantEDGE program that gives you 10,20,30 cents or more off every gallon of gas (up to 20 gallons) at participating Sunoco stations.

It's easy to do. Shop at Price Chopper (locations below) and use your card. For every $50 you spend, you get 10cents off every gallon of gas on your next fill-up. Every $50 you spend gets you another 10cents off a gallon. There are no limits on the discounts you can earn. The more you spend at Price Chopper, the more you save.

Just put in you full size AdvantEDGE Card at the pump and watch the price per gallon roll back automatically.

Living in the Capital Region is getting to be a bummer, no doubles at Price Chopper and now this. Boy would this offer come in handy.

Got this email back when asked if fuel program was coming ot my area.

The Capital District area has yet to be scheduled at this time and may or may not be based on a variety of factors, including Sunoco gas stations willingness to participate. This is kind of interesting - as posted in another post, the fliers for the upcoming week (5/20-5/26) have 3 double any coupon up to $3 on the front.

What is really interesting, though, is that they say on them they are good in all stores (excluding Watertown, Syracuse, Fulton, Oswego, Cortland, Putnam, Newington, Southington, Bristol, Waterbury & Vernon).

Now, why does that list look familiar? Kind of like the list of stores doing the Fuel Advantage from the above post? The only difference is that Cicero & Clay are NOT listed, but Putnam IS.

Seems that they may be offering less other options to those store sthat get the Fuel deal?

oh that will really stink! Cicero and Clay are right in the middle of all the gas stations participating in that area though, so not sure why they are doing that. Maybe your flyer is for a certain zone? I will not get mine until Sunday, but I will be sure to post if we have the double q's. I sure hope so!!

I hate that they do this!!!! they exclude every store in ct other than torrington!!! Torrington stinks price wise!!! I have tried to take these to competitors in the area and they say" oh look it excludes such and such store so we can't take these!" Man i got all happy....im comming down off the walgreens high from last week and was looking for another deal to rinse and repeat! Darn you price chopper execs!!!:lame:

Thanks for the info. I grew up in the Capital District :) My parents still live there and shop at PC (me too when I go home to visit). I can see the capital region gas stations not wanting the participate. I can't remember PC having a lot of good deals before - it was mostly GU before it closed completely.

Thanks for that list, I will be shopping in Clay this next week. I can't pass up triple coupons! But I'm bummed that I'll probablly get the shaft if this gas thing stays.
