The Keene NH store is going to implement the Fuel Advantage starting on June 21st. yippee!! And what's cool is that the box truck that dh drives has a big ole Sunoco logo on the side, so we'll be supporting his companies gas stations!! LOL

So I have a couple of questions. Is the $50 after coupons or before? Do you need to spend $50 at a time to get the gas discount? I can't even remember the last time I spent $50 in one trip. I'm hoping that if I go 2 times and spend $25 each time that after the 2nd trip is when I get the discount on the card.

it's after coupons and store discounts. On the bottom of your receipt, there will be a running total: how much of a discount you have now and how much you have towards your next $50. It will keep adding your shopping trips together until you get to each $50 increment.

Have fun! It is awesome and I now try to shop nowhere else so I can get this extra discount.

I think I just figured out which store I'll be doing my WIC purchases at then, and I guess I'll be doing more of my meat purchases there too now. I just hope that the one store in Vermont that I also go to will be doing the program as well, since they are closer to me, and there's a Sunoco station in town, on my way back home.

So how high can you let the discount accumulate to until you use it for the gas? or is the highest it'll take off .10/gallon

I'm sorry. The handout from the store just had ZERO information about how it all works - just that they were going to implement it and that you'll need your wallet AdvantEdge card to use at the gas pump.

it will take off as much as you have - if you have a .60/gallon discount - that is what you get. Last week, there was a 4 page huge ad with local people and some had a $2/gallon discount - that is a huge savings!

I personally cannot use 20 gallons, so the next time, I am going to have dh follow me and top off his tank too. It is a 20 gallon maximum.

there is an expiration date on the discount also. But I think it is confusing, because the receipt only says "discounts earned today expire...) So if you are going to save up for a big discount, you would have to also keep track of your reciepts to see when the first one would expire. KWIM? The expiration date looks to be about 2 months from purchase.

I am really excited about this. This will keep me shopping at P.C. I'm just hoping the gas prices at the Sunoco aren't jacked up to make up for it!!
I need gas today and I spent my first $50 yesterday so I'm going to go find out.
Of course, being Labor Day weekend, this is a bad day to get gas.

Wouldn't you know, I went yesterday to get gas with my .10/gallon discount. I would have waited for more of a discount but I was on Empty. So the gas station near me that is part of this promotion, WAS OUT OF GAS! What's up with that. But I did find out that the gas prices there were in line with the gas prices of another station up the street so at least that answered one question.

Ugh!

I'm hoping it was just because of Labor Day weekend.

I'm so excited!! My PC in Malone, NY is starting the FA program soon (and they double up to $1 cpns). Can someone tell me how this works tho? Like do I have to spend $150 all at once to get $.30 off my next 20 gallons, or does it just keep adding up and up? And is this the price before or after advantage card and cpns??
