I was in yesterday to get some cereal, & a few other things.what is thier policy for using q on bogo free?i had some items that went through with q for $1 off 2 & some that the cashier wouldn't take!
8 oclock coffee-wouldn't take
marcal napkins-did take
cherrios-wouldn't take
chex mix-wouldn't take
i questioned the cashier some what,but didn't want her to undo what i already did get!
All in all,my total was 123.65
i paid 62.58!

You need to have your coupons scanned before you use your advantage card. This is because.. when the advantage card scans the free one comes up as $0.00. I usually do not have a problem asking them to scan the coupons first. One time I had a cashier tell me they were not supposed to do that, but then he did anyway.

I have never had a problem using $$/1 on a BOGO sale, and most of the time if I use (2) $$/1 ( IE: last week used (2) 1.00 cheerio coups ) I don't have a problem....

Fot the first time, I had the same problem with Cheerios-cashier said, well you got 2nd box free, so it doesn't matter-OH YEAH???

I got into a major argument over this...and lost. Corporate says that they do not accept coupons on "free" items that are b1g1. I argued that they stack coupons, this is the same thing. They said no. I don't see how this is different. I called to complain, and they wanted every bit of personal info about me, including the time I went and if I paid by cash/check/cc. This made me feel very uncomfotable. They refused to scan my q's before my card, and the last few times I went, they waited until I found my card. I have had luck, though, going in the evening. The cashiers are more laid back, and they get excited when they see my total drop, too.

Sorry if this is a really lame question, But how does this work.. My PC will double up to .99 .. Is this done everyday or only select days? Do I have to ask to have them doubled? What if a q is for -$1.00 will this double to -$1.98.

I am very new to all of this, and have learned soo much from you all, but this was my one lingering question.

It is valid every day, and the register will do it automatically! If they only double up to .99, then any $1 coupons will be valid for $1 off only.
