Some PCs won't double once you have reached a 50% savings on your total grocery bill.
I didn't realize it until I was in my car. I am assuming they were dnd5 but they have never not doubled those for me. Whats up?

Raj: I don't like bugs, okay? They freak me out.
Sheldon: Interesting. You're afraid of insects and women. Ladybugs must render you catatonic.
That may be what happened-the dreaded 50% rule. lol where do you shop? If you have other coupons, always give the doubles first. If you have only doubles, you have to buy something else to make it not go to the 50% threshhold. Some people buy gift cards, I buy city trash bags cuz I always need em and they're $7.50 a bag!

Yeah, I lost 10.00 on the 50% rule last time I went. I thought I had got past it but nope. I will be watching closer today.
Nope wasn't even close to the 50% rule. I made sure i had enough to make it. I am returning some items tomorrow.
Depends on the cashier too, if the coupon reads DND they can press a button just before scanning and the coupon won't double.
Tara - woah, $7.50 a bag?!? Ours are $1.65 for large and .95 for a small.
so sorry...I assumed it was the 50% rule too...
I have never had a dnd5 not double before :shrug7:

It stinks I know!
But, what really stinks is when I figure out my total and what coupons I can use for the 50% rule. And when the cashier finishes scanning and the total comes up, what I figured out was way less than is on the screen. I could of used more items w/coupons!
I now bring xtra items with me to the cashier and I tell her to scan it until the I have reached the 50% rule.
Do you know how many cheap or free's I have lost. Argggh.
So, I know how it feels both ways. To pass the 50% rule and to go under it!
Yeah, I went under today. I'm sorta new to couponing so I didn't know about the 50% rule. Usually, DH has been pillaging Price Chopper. I wasn't that upset as I had $121 worth of stuff and I only paid $34 for all of it. The 18 year old cashier was not coupon friendly but that's to bad (she questioned a purchase as the art work on the coupon was not what I was purchasing). I've been a cashier and I know it's a hard job. But ya know what's a harder job? Being a grown up, trying to raise a child, pay a mortgage and stay on a budget. Ring me up, cranky pants!
oooo! Also, anyone catch that Unilever deal? I bought $56.95 worth of unilever products. With coupons it was $14.97. If you spend $20 on Unilever this week you get $7 off your next visit. I was hoping it was per $20 but I only got the one coupon so apparently it was per customer.
