does anyone know if in price chopper catalina deals when an item is BOGO free does the free one count toward the presale total. I know this may be a confusing question, but if you know I would appreciate the help. I have always tried to figure this out, but in the past one or more items have not been programmed in so it didn't work.

Martha I answered you in the cat thread but usually yes the free item would count at the shelf price towards your threshold. At least that has been my experience.

I just got back from Price Chopper in Berlin, VT. I checked the price there for Men's Degree. I believe the shelf price was $4.49 and it was on sale for 2/$6.00.

But you might not want to listen to me!! I just missed the Unilever cat. by 8 (YES, EIGHT) cents!! I blame it on the fact that I gave blood today. I am going to caulk it up as a learning experience. Note to self...."Go shopping BEFORE you donate blood!"

This is a really exciting catalina deal. I hope I have better luck with this than I did with the ConAgra last week. Not too worried though, I typically do the Unilever deal and don't have problems. That may have been my first ever ConAgra. Anyway, really excited for this. In my experience the "free" item in the BOGO counts towards the threshold. That makes it really easy to hit. Going shopping after work tonight. Woohoo!

Well I'm back from shopping. I did 6 transactions at 3 different stores. I got the $7 cat each time! Yay! I now have 12 bottles of Wisk, 10 bottles of Wishbone, 2 boxes of Lipton tea, plus some other stuff, down in my car. I still have a ton of Wisk coupons to use this week. I hope they keep stocking the shelves!

I wrote down all my shelf prices tonight and need to plan how best to use the coups I have available. Sadly I don't have Skippy or Knorr Sides in the quantities I'm used to and only 10 Hellmann's coupons.
