Price Chopper (NE) ConAgra 5/10-5/16

There is a $5 cat wyb $20 in ConAgra items. Previously this had been on shelf prices, today I bought 4 Marie Callenders, 1 Chef Boyardee, 1 Slim Jim shelf price of 20.94 advantage price of 13.98 and the cat did not print. Was this bad luck? or has this changed?

I bought $25.01 worth of ConAgra products on 5/10, but after Advantage it was 13.98 just like you did, mtimoney. I got the $5.00 cat. I had no idea I was doing that, never heard of ConAgra, and just came on here to look it up. I wonder if you had to buy $25 worth? The cat didn't state the criteria, so am not sure.

Did you buy other items that brought you over $20 or was it just the conagra items?

A few other items, but my total after coupons was like 8.62 for everything. I think there were like $7 in other items than the Conagra

My ad says "when you purchase $20 of participating ConAgra favorites". Marie Callenders is not shown with the products. My take is that these are the only qualifying items: Wesson Oil, Chef Boyardee, Hunt's, Gulden's, Hunt's Pudding Snack Pack, Manwich, Healthy Choice soups, Peter Pan pb, and Slim Jim. Sizes and flavors specific to the fine print. I plan on shopping this tonight to get slim jims and ketchup.

ETA I will be getting a TON of the pudding...my kids LOVE IT and it is a great cheap snack...just wish there were Q's for it

No thats not it, if you look at Marie Collanders and Orville Redenbacher on different pages, they have a little ConAgra food favorites symbol see page 10. So I am still clueless why it didnt work.

Oh wow, I hadn't noticed that symbol. So you added it up based on the actual shelf price but did you check your receipt to make sure the original prices hadn't changed? If that all ads up then whoever coded for the sale must have missed one of the products that you purchased. I hate when that happens. Or maybe the catalina machine wasn't working? Did you get anything else printing off the machine in that transaction?

yes I did get a $2 Starbucks ice cream cat, but I think the slim jims is the one that wasn't working, because tonight same order except orville redenbacher instead of slim jims and it worked. Maybe total order didn't get to $20 like somebody else mentioned. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I did this today with Hunts Sauce and the Orville Redenbacher which are not in the same section of the ad and the catalina printed.
I may be posting this in the wrong spot but there are coupons and a rebate for more coupons in the May issue of ALL YOU magazine found at Walmart. Coupons include ketchup, pudding, redi whip, chef boyardee, orville redenbacher along with a few others.
