Starting Sunday, June 26 - The Albany (Capital District) area will start doubling up to $.99!! I don't know the full details at this time. I will be checking it out!!!!

While I am very happy that we will finally be able to double q's, I am equally sad that you will not be able to double $1 q's!! It stinks that they are taking away something that was already there. That is HORRIBLE!!!!

Plattsburgh, NY was doubling up to and including $1.00 but as of July 10th, 2011 they will only double up to .99. Many unhappy people in the north country. price chopper is our only store that doubles and we were really doing about 65-70 % savings with it, but I'm afraid now it's gonna be alot tougher.

Price Chopper in Queensbury doubles up to $.99.

I find Price Chopper a bit expensive and usually only shop there for their really good sales. I did get Edge shave gel for my son using my double off $.55 cents coupons. They were on sale for $2.00 a can and I got 2 cans for $.90 each.

They also had Dove shampoo on sale for 2/$6 and I had $.75 cents off coupons. I got them for $1.50 each. My son goes through shampoo like it's going out of style and he's not picky that it's Dove. I'll let him know it's there when he goes through the shampoo I've stock piled for him already.

It was nice to get double off but unless PC is the place I can get something cheapest with doubling I probably won't shop there much.
