the same thing happened to me & i went to customer service & waited to my cat or my $10.the guy at cs didn't know his head from his a**.so i said i clearly boght $30 worth berfore my coupons & you need to ask the manager or you can return & refund me my money.well the manager agreed with me that it is before coupons & i got my cat.it is so weird, i never had this happen before.definatly go back with your reciept & ask for a manager!
Which store did you go to? I went to Worcester in the old Fair Plaza. The mgrs. said that 2 other women were in the this morning and had the same problem. I rarely go to PC (mainly Shaws), but this deal was pretty good, and I needed the Stove Top. I wasted a half hour waiting around to talk to people. At that point, I had had enough. I wish I had returned the stuff, but oh well.

I'm a little aggravated by that because nowhere in the ad does it state that you need to use your Advantage Card (which would equal sale pricing), nor does it state that the $30 total is after coupon pricing.

Makes me mad. I bought all that extra stuff for no reason and blew 1/4 of my grocery budget for this week on this stinkin' deal. Granted my grocery budget is only $40/wk, but I'm able to feed my family well on that money. $10 is a LOT of money when you coupon like us!
    Hey there
I'm not sure what you bought but I did both deals at the Cambridge/Main St store in Worcester and it did work on shelf pricing. I got 16 boxes of Stove Top using 3 of the buy 4 get 1 coupons and the b1g1 sale and got the $10 cat.

I have no idea why I didn't get it. I bought 10 stove top (used one buy4 get 1 free Q), 2 triscuits and 1 crystal light. Used $1/2 for the triscuits and $.50/1 for the crystal light. Plus I used an old $5 cat that I didn't even know I had.

Thanks for the info on the sig. I didn't realize there was a rule. You probably saved me an infraction!

You did not get it because the pricing is based on the SALE shelf tags (AD PRICE)... therefore:

    Stuffing ($1.99 B1G1) x 10 = $19.90
    Triscuits ($1.99) x 2 = $3.98
    Crystal Light ($2.00) x1 =$2.00

TOTAL: $25.88 You didn't spend $30. Sorry, I think you are out of luck on this one.... We are lucky that our free Stove Top counted....You can try Customer Service, but I bet they tell you no...you can always return the items....

I did the Kraft deal and it worked on the regular shelf prices. I bought 10 Stove Top, 2 Triscuit and 1 Wheat Thins.

    Sale price - $16.92

    Regular Shelf Price - $32.37

I was under the impression, based on all of the other posts here (and past transactions at both Price Chopper and Shaws) that the majority of deals like these are run off of the shelf price and not the sale price. I've done the CS route already, and it was a waste of time; however, my argument is that in the ad it does not say anywhere (that I could see, please correct me if I'm wrong) that you need to use your Advantage card to get the Cat. Oh well, not a big deal. I seem to walk out of Price Chopper frustrated with these deals about 75% of the time. Stove top was only $.79/box this week at Target - I could have gotten the 10 boxes there for a lot less! I didn't really need the Triscuits or Crystal Light and only bought them for the Cat. Unfortunately, at this point, I think returning the items is more of a hassle than the $6 is worth. Live and learn, I guess.
