Default Really Cheap/Free Kellogg's Cereal

Kellogg's is running a cereal deal this week-- $3 off any 2 cereals. They have the Mini Swirl Buns (hope I got name right) for $1.54 each, so two are $3.08-$3= $.08 (4 cents a box). The corn flakes (12 oz) are $1.39 each, so 2 are $2.78- $3= -22 cents A MONEY MAKER!

There is an additional $1 Q in the isave machine, but that is only good on 3 boxes of cereal, so really doesn't work to your benefit.

Thanks! I'm going to try this too. Does anyone know if it would take off $6.00 if I bought four boxes? If so the Isave coupon would make it an even bigger money maker.

Thanks for the heads up, OP!

Unless I hear that it doesn't work to buy 4 boxes, I am going to try buying 4 and using the ISave coupon this evening. That would be $7 off my cereal purchase, so any cereal that was 1.75 per box or less would be free. (if my math is right, and if they will really take $6 off for 4 boxes)

Okay, so I had my husband go by after work to check on this deal. (He works next door to PC so I have him drop by every day after work anyway to scan his card at the ISave machine. I'm always trying to get the $2/2 Full Circle product q to score free + overage organic chickpeas or refried beans.)

He got a little confused because the price they had marked on the shelf at our store was AFTER the $1.50 per box was deducted. He picked up 2 12 oz Corn Flakes (0.89 after sale), 1 14 oz Frosted Flakes (1.19), and 1 17 oz Frosted Flakes (1.69). He also used the $1 off q from ISave, for an additional $0.25 off per box. For us that isn't a great price for cereal since I can usually get it free somewhere. But he really loves Frosted Flakes, which I NEVER get free, so I don't think he was too upset about paying a little more OOP for them.

I tried this yesterday too. My store had the corn flakes marked 1.49 so I thought I was finally going to get free cereal. Wrong! Like crissygail said above, the price on the shelf is AFTER the $1.50 per box so NO FREE CEREAL. I was a little bummed as I had paid $1.49 for per box for corn flakes.

That is how it is but I used the $4/4 coupon so it was really cheap.

There were a few printables for (healthy) Kellogg cereals in some of the June ad threads.

I'm sorry that the deal didn't work as I described. The first day of the sale it did work and I got the cereal for .04 each. When I went back on Tuesday the deal worked like the PP's said-- shelf price reflected the $1.50 discount already. Well I made a little fuss about how by law the shelf price has to be accurate and the ad says $3 off 2 and that they were not in compliance with the law. Anywho-- my store posted little pink signs all over the cereal aisle saying that the shelf price reflected the $1.50 savings already. Needless to say, I didn't buy any more cereal this week! Sorry for the confusion!
