    Hi melandy!

Welcome to HCW! Price Chopper (KS/MO) does not have a current mod, but our members are welcome to post the ads & help figure out match-ups until we find a mod. Also, members are always welcome to post ads & match-ups even if we have a mod. We like to leave that open for all members to help each other out.

Personally, I shop at Hen House more. They double up to & including .50 & Price Chopper doesn't double. It's odd, considering they're both from the same company. Also, Hen House rarely, if ever, puts limits on their sale items. Price Chopper will often have a great deal that no one in town can beat, but then they limit it to 2, so I often find it's just not worth the trip for me. If I were closer to one, I would go more though.

I do see a couple of possibilities looking in their 2-day sale.

Hamburger Helper is .88. Go here for a .50/1 coupon (at top of page) that you can print twice per computer. Just hit your back button to print the 2nd time.

Yoplait Yogurt .38 There's a 1.00/10 coupon, but not in KC star. It was regional. We got the .50/8 or .40/6. Still a good price.

    In the regular ad:

Red Gold Diced Tomatoes w/ Chili's: There's an insert coupon (week before last, I think) for $1/3 to get 3 for .50 (pretty sure it was $1/3. I used mine at another store & can't find it in the database).

There's also a .75/1 printable here to make them free!

Do you see any other deals?

We live and work very close to 3 Price Choppers.. I think we would be willing to drive to a hen house.. but we don't get their ad.. I think it would be worth it to double coupons up to 50.. we just started collecting coupons and feel a little overwhelmed at how to keep them all straight and organized.. If you have any advice we would be all ears.. I'll check out the hen house deals.. Thanks for the reply and I hope to make lots of new friends. Thanks!

Organizing your coupons is a great start. I used to be way more organized, but the system I have now works best for me. I used a plastic check file I got at Walgreens for my grocery coupons. Many use binders, but I just never got into that myself. If I had kids to buy for, I would probably find it to be a better system for me though. Here's some ideas for coupon organizing... Just follow the links in this post.

The Henhouse.com nearly always has their ad linked a bit early, sometimes by afternoon on Tuesdays, so it's fun to get a jump start on trading for coupons. I never wait for the paper to check sales there & rarely look at their actual paper. Sign up for their clipless coupons also. These are unadvertised deals, so stock is usually great on them. I got a bunch of free Hefty plates a couple of weeks ago that was a clipless coupon promotion. And awhile back they had the Farmland bacon-wrapped pork loins for a buck & I had $1/1 fresh pork coupons to make them free.

Those coupons I got the free Hefty's & pork with could not be found in KC though. I traded for them here on HCW. If you'd like, you can join our trading community & find coupons from many different regions that we'd otherwise never know existed.
Just follow this link to sign up for our Trader in Training (TNT) program.

Isn't Hen House and Price Chopper just about the same store? I swear when I used to shop at both...that there add was very similar and they had very similar sales...if not exactly the same.

I used to shop at the one in Parkville. Great kids consignment store near by LOL.

They're owned by the same company, but they're nothing alike, imo. I would've never dreamed of trying to use the $5/5 Kraft IP at P.C.. They won't take IP's that make an item free or is valued at 50% off or more. It doesn't matter that it's on sale. They also would not allow me to use wyb coupons with $/$ coupons. They don't double q's either.

e.g. They will have Healthy Choice soup on sale for .69 a can, but they limit you to 2. Hen House will have it on sale for .99, with no limit & will double your coupons.

Hen House doubles. Dang I never knew that! I never noticed it...but I didn't go there often and didn't coupon there much.

Back in MO my printer was in my basement...so I had to log onto that computer down in the dungeon to do IP's so I never ever did them.

Now we have wireless. so much better!

Yup! And the one I frequent is really great about my coupons. I don't use massive amounts, but I often have 30 - 40. Their computers get wonky after so many doubles though, so I watch that carefully & have them double by hand if it stops.

seriously if I had known they would of doubled I would of trucked out there all the time. I lived in gladstone and had easy access to PC and Hyvee but would of made the trip out there.

There is some other store out there that doubles...by the river. But it's over priced stuff...and most of it wasn't worth it.
