So, say the .99 Kellogg's Frosted Flakes President's day--limit 2. You snag 12 of them, put the little dividers on the conveyor belt, and put two boxes in between each one? Is that what you're saying? Never thought of doing that, I'll have to ask the managers at my local ones and see if that'll fly. Would be awesome!

Guy's, Don't forget the New Sunfresh out in Kck. Its right off of 18th Street Expressway. They Do not take Internet coupons , but they do double up to .49 cents of regular coupons.

Their Ad is online also so you can preview it and see if it will be worth the trip. They also have a nice $1 area, but nothing there is name brand.

If you are having problems with coupons being accepted, I can tell you that 18th Street and Roe Price Chopper has never given me a problem. I shop there 2-4 times a month and use 15-30 Coupons. Anything over $15 coupons will require a manager override.

Also you can get around the limit by doing a second transactions. Since I never shop alone anyways, I just have my helper check out once too!

Kym, thanks for jump starting the Price Chopper forum. It doesn't seem to get a lot of activity lately, which is really too bad because they have plenty deals.

I'm doing my best to get some Activity going on in there. Once I hit my 2 month mark, I may apply to be the moderator. I enjoy finding great deals for my family, and love helping others as well!

I took a friend out yesterday to Walmart and helped her save 70% off her Toiletries and Cleaning supplies. She was shocked! I was upset I missed the 75% mark lol.

That inspires me. So far the only time I came close to that was one deal at Target where I got 65% off on some food, counting one of the 5 dollar gift cards from the deal. Would really be great to have a moderator for Price Chopper.
When you go for that much off, do you just get whichever brand is cheapest or do you test out products a bit to see if you notice a difference in quality?

Ive been on my own for over a dozen years, so I have a pretty firm Idea of what Products are a good quality and what ones are complete and utter junk.
Like Xtra Laundry Detergent, it plain doesnt work. It was on sale for $1.49 this week and I had coupons for the $4 off $20 so I could have gotten it really cheap.

Besides we have 8 people here, someone would use most items. Foods , if all else fails. I can donate them!

With my friend. She said they literaly go to the store, her husband smells everything and he buys what ever he thinks smells good! They usually Pay nearly $100 for Diapers , Wipes , Cleaning Supplies and all the other necessities.

Anyway it goes, we all live in different areas and sometimes even get different coupons, or have different store policies.
The Big thing for me. Is when ever I find a deal that is say 75% off. Say Im getting $4 item for $1. I will then buy a Minimum of 4 so I reach the original price. I usually buy 8 though with a family of 8.

I never pass a walmart with out stopping in and checking out prices on things! I usually can score some overage out of the clearance section if nothing else.

That reminds of one coupon blogger that was really into Purex because of the smell. Most people that I know who tried it didn't think it cleaned as well as some other brands, though. Thanks for the tips.

We were like that too! We loved the smell but were not happy with the clothing not coming clean enough. We were gifted a bottle of Tide that a friend was allergic to and were amazed when it took out stuff we through was stained in. So We use Tide on Work clothes and nicer stuff, and What ever last months sale was on, on everything else !!!!
