At Hen House Market...This weeks' Quaker deal is pretty good. Buy 5 quaker products get $3 off. Capn Crunch is $1.77. Minus your .50 coupon, that's pretty cheap for me for Capn Crunch cereal.

They also have electrasol on sale for $2.96 if you have any of the $2.25 coupons left.

I did the Quaker Deal at Hen House this morning. Here is what I did:

So you did more than one deal in the same transaction and it took the 3$ off accordingly? I was wondering about that. I hope my oatmeal q's get here before this deal expires. Otherwise i will just have to go get some more syrup and capn crunch!

You can do as many deals as you want in the same transaction. You can do any combination of 5 Quaker items and you will receive $3 off your order. The register and your receipt will just say "Quaker Discount Applied" after the fifth Quaker item is scanned. It will not say $3 off UNTIL the very end.
I used IP for the oatmeal.

You will have to check your flyer, but the deal I put together for this was:

1 aunt jimima pancake mix
1 syrup
1 capn crunch
2 canisters of quick oatmeal

I had a coupon for 1.00 of the pancake/syrup
.50 cents off capn crunch (doubled)


I figured it will come out to about 2.00 for all products.

My quaker q's came today so i was able to get some great deals today. Did the deal 1 time last wednesday and 4 times today in the same transaction, no problem!

This will teach me to read the ad and this thread a little more before I shop...I thought the deal was limit one. I wasnt too upset to only get to HH once since I thought the limit was 1 but now I am mad at myself! I guess I will just have to watch this weeks ads to see where the Quaker deal is now.

OMG...DH just said since I didnt get him a bunch of PB Capn Crunch he is gonna beat me with Twizzlers (that I am sure I got free or cheap )!!

I was able to get to the Lees Summit store on Saturday. They were out of Capn Crunch. My dh was po'd! I did do one deal... pancake mix, syrup, oatmeal.

I requested a rain check, ordered more coupons off ebay, got them today and I will be back in Lees Summit on Sunday to cash in! Hubby will get his capn crunch after all.

I was surprised when i went in on tuesday that they still had a lot of cap n crunch left at the olathe hen house, normally things like that sell out quickly at that store. I guess maybe most olathe couponers are well stocked up on cereal after all the deals the past few months, i know i am. I only got one box on my first trip. Now as far as syrup and regular oatmeal goes, I'm well stocked up now after this deal!
