WOW! Which Price Chopper?
I shop at the South 7 Hwy, Blue Springs location. They don't double. Just give them your card after they ring you up.

I think I will...lol! That is wild! I wish Price Chopper doubled. Hen House does & they're affiliated, so it's beyond me why PC doesn't. I prefer the Hen House, but they're computer seems to wig out if you use too many of the same coupons & then they stop doubling. I try to mix them up some, but they never seem to be able to get through my pile of q's before they stop doubling.

This is an update to the original post. The AM told me I could use the Nabisco $1/1 q's with the Free Kraft Cheese q's. So, after going BACK out there with my raincheck, I'm told I can't by the manager!

So much for coupon policy's...

I wish CVS sold cheese!!!

I shop at a Queen's PC and have never had a problem with internet coupons, although sometimes a cashier has to stop and ask a manager if they can take them. The answer is always yes. They never double. I usually get the overage too.

Default Re: Coupon Policy

Last week I was at a Queen's PC and they took my $3 off Planters peanuts as well as other IPs with no problem. On Sunday I went in again and tried to use the Planters peanuts IP because I was going to get a Kraft Mac & Cheese and 2 $0.05 Koolaid and the cashier said they can no longer take any IPs over $1.00. I was confused because last week they took it with no issues and just then the manager walked up. He said that everyone had a mandatory meeting over the weekend and all the cashiers had to sign forms stating that he/she would not accept any IPs over $1.00. He said that the store actually loses money every time an IP is used because the store has to pay for the IP. I didn't really get that part because I thought IPs were paid by the manufacturer, but the manager was saying the Price Chopper pays for them. Needless to say I didn't get the peanuts or the Koolaid, but that's ok. Now I know for next time.

Default Re: Coupon Policy

I wish it was easier than this at Price Chopper. I've had similar issues at my store.

And when I've asked for a written coupon policy so that I can better plan my trips and not be embarassed at the check out, I get this weird look from the customer service person and a friendly "well, what coupons are you trying to use?" When I try to explain that I don't have one particular coupon in mind, I'm just trying to play by their rules, all I get is a blank stare.... my guess is that this just doesn't exist.

I have contacted Price Chopper again regarding this, hopefully we'll hear back from them soon.

SAD Re: Coupon Policy

My Price Chopper won't allow me to scan my card after the coupons! They refuse to scan your coupons until you hand over the card.

NEWBIE Re: Coupon Policy

I'm confused. Why would it matter if your card was scanned before or after ringing up coupons? Does it somehow affect the way the register processes the card based discounts and the coupon??
