I went to the Piggly Wiggly in Hartland and spoke with the manager about the doubling of coupons tomorrow. He said only a couple of Piggly Wiggly's in the area are participating: Slinger and Richfield. He said the stores are individually owned and make independent decisions about promotions. I encouraged him to look into that in the future as PNS is doubling 10 coupons tomorrow up to $1, and have been doing that monthly for 3 months now.

I went to the Pig in Oshkosh this morning to try out the double coupons and thought I'd come here to report what I found. Of course this is for my store and things may be different at others.

* First the coupons do not double automatically. They need to type in something to get each coupon to double.
* internet printables were doubled
* coupons marked as DND were also doubled

All the people working were so nice. The cashier made sure to go through all my coupons to make sure she doubled the 5 highest dollar ones.

While our Pig is small and doesn't have the same selection as Pick, it's so much nicer shopping there. Now with the double coupons they're going to be seeing a lot more of me. Just hope to get some really good sales to match up with the double coupons.
