I just signed up for this because my chow can only eat nutro (venison) or solid gold (wolfking). I got $20 worth of coupons but they were $2 off the bag of dry food and then lots of other random treats and stuff. I did get the buy 10 bags, get 1 free envelope but it said petsmart, petco, and pet supermarket do not participate. Now where to go?
Here is the link I use:

Yep, that's the one I signed up for. I didn't notice when signing up but it does say the store exclusions on the site. And I just assumed I'd get 4 $5 coupons since the previous poster said they got $5 coupons. I signed up on the 18th (maybe they changed the promo?) and received it within just a few days, not 4 - 6 weeks. Every bit helps when that's all she can eat but I was really hoping for the $5 coupons!
From website:

We would have qualified for this many times over, but of course got our Nutro at Petsmart. You might try searching Google maps to see if there is a Feed and Seed supply store near you. We just discovered one near us and are going to hopefully start buying there.
We just started shoppping for a new dog food though - figured out that if we feed them a higher quality dog food, then they eat less. On Nutro and comparable foods they eat 6 and 8 cups a day according to their weight chart. On a better food they will eat a little less than 4 and 6 cups. So the price is higher but the food will last longer and it evens out. Plus our dogs get better food.

She only eats 1 cup twice a day and unless I can find the solid gold (I bought that on the 3 hour drive home from getting her in a big city), she'll have to stay on the nutro. Everything else I've tried, gives her digestive problems. Even the different varieties. Poor girl. Maybe I'll make the hour drive to a big city to get her the solid gold and just get a ton of it all at once. It's not that much further than the half hour I drive for the nutro I guess and has much better nutrition for her. Gotta do what ya gotta do!
Totally understand! Hope I didn't come across as saying this is a really bad food or something - it's worked better for our dogs than plenty of others we tried the same price or less. And before those $5/1 coupons expired earlier this summer we used a lot of them. We just have mastiffs so they eat a ton! lol

Petco doesn't hardly ever put the nutro on sale for dogs, just for cats. I talked to a nutro rep at the dog show about their frequent program and he told me it's actually better to do the petco buy 10 bags and get 1 free.
I love the coupons petco has right now, I've basically been buying my normal 40lb bag every 2 weeks and getting cat food thrown in for free!!!
6-8 cups on nutro?!?!?! One of my dogs weighs 100lbs and she still gets only 2.5cups a day, we mix green beans in with their foods to try and get them to lose weight. I need to go look and see what the bag says we "should" be feeding them.
