Got shot down at PetCo

I tried to get the Beneful trial size which was $1.49. I asked them to adjust down the $3 coupon and the cashier was very rude. The manager said nope, they can't do it on trial size. I said it said "any" size and still nope. I then went outside, called customer service, who really didn't understand what I was saying. But she said she called the manager and for me to go back inside. The thing is, she said she talked to a woman manager there, and the manager was a man! I have no idea who she talked to but they were very rude.

So what is the PetCo coupon policy? Can they adjust down?

I have tried to get the coupon policy for PetCo and like Petsmart they tend to leave it to the store managers. What flies at one store will not fly at another one.

So does Petco have these now? Cause last weekend they didn't have any at all..
