WLC - I Challenge You...

I challenge you to add at least 10 minutes(more) of exercise to your daily routine. It may seem like a small amount of time, but as everyone knows, life gets hectic, and even 10 minutes can make a difference.

It can be any kind of activity that gets you moving - walking around your office, playing with the kids, doing squats while you watch tv.

I personally have been doing a little step aerobics routine everytime I go outside at work for a dreaded ciggarette break(yes I know that is another challenge I must deal with). Over the course of the day I have been doing a total of about 20 minutes worth of exercise.

:encourage7:So get out there and move those bodies!!!You can do it! (Do I sound enough like Richard Simmons lol)

My DH and I walked two miles today... one mile one way and one mile back. I have been doing this since Dec 23rd a few times a week and finally I am not out of breath and feeling like I am going to fall to the ground and die! We try to do 6 to 8 miles a week! It's my new thing... now if I can only figure out what to give up for lent....

this is great, here is an idea that I do sometimes.....

I get up and move for commercials, walk in place...stretch....whatever....

it helps

another thing I do is
sink push-ups...

yep, at my kitchen sink, stand about ywo feet away and grab the front of the sink/counter and do push ups....

Hey! Who are you calling a psycho?? Who have you been talking to?


"Move it shoppers, I'm exercising here!!! And collecting peelies." It could be a whole new exercise fad. "And bend and peel, and bend and peel" Why not?

Cuz-I'm with you right now unfortunately. I have got to get back into my Y routine! I was going at least 4 times a week, sometimes 5 for an hour of pilates or an hour Zumba class. Now I'm doing nothing!
