2012 - How much $$$ can you get back from rebates???

thought I would start this thread now,
since rebates normally have a lagtime of 4-6 weeks

I am going to keep a running tally of what monies I receive from MIRs, TMFs, and other rebate offers.

Who wants to join me??

Neat idea. I have been pretty good at the NBPRs but I rarely do others. I have sent off three in the past month, tho, and want to do better--perhaps you can inspire me :-).

I need to do better at this for sure. I get the forms and don't keep track of my receipts. Or I don't take them with me to the stores to see what I can score for cheap (like markdown meats). I'm in a non-beer purchase state too so I really should be doing more.

I am having a wicked time making good trades for the forms and my area never puts them out.. I have done really good in past years, although I find I purchase marked down packs of meat and the register shows them as " special today" so makes my receipt useless for some rebates I am aiming to ful fil. I have noticed some of the companies I was once able to full fill using the terms "worth" are not honoring that the same I have received more rejections this year than past years to and it really stinks because I really need the money coming in more that ever now. Not trying to be the bear of bad news I am still willing to try hard and work harder to make trades for the forms, I will be extra cautious to make sure I follow the rules and leave no room for rejection. That is my goal!
