I am having my first one on May 21! Will probably have at least 1 more, probably 2 more throughout the summer. I do really well with mine usually. I don't keep track of how many items I sell, but I obviously know how much $$$ I make.

We are moving in Sept, so I will have a massive yardsale in Aug probably. We are going from 1700 sq ft to 1300 sq ft, so major downsizing into a yard sale. I will sell some stockpile, but I am on a buying freeze right now unless we will consume it before Sept so I don't know how much I will have.
I am in the "live off my stockpile and deplet it" mode this summer. I may sell some that I dont want to move at the yard sale though. I really need to figure out how much room I will have in the new house for stockpile:)
Wishlist - updated 5/10 & NBPN rebates for NC!
Oooooooh, I'm in!!! I usually do 3 sales per summer; my first will be in June after Memorial Day weekend!
Last year between my 3 sales I made $3149.00 =D
I usually use half to pay my student loans but this year I think DH wants to put the $$ toward propane. FUN =/

good idea tho mrsshultz since propane, gas, oil and coal sales will be cheaper in the summer months because it wont be cold.. the prices may drop to an affordable rate ;) stocking up may be a good thing!

I have everything boxed up and ready to go! I will have a few more things to get together before now and May 21 though. My in-laws neighborhood has a huge one in September that I do too. I don't have as much as I have had to sell in recent years, but I will still do well, and I usually put the $$$ into DD's savings account.

Hey! The weather isn't nice here yet. Don't make me jelous LOL.
I'm not a huge yard sale person but I usually help at my sis' each year and just bring a few things down. And I've tried to limit my stockpile to what I will use in a given amount of time but I still may do this a little this summer. I can't wait to see how much you guys make in a sale!!!!

So, what does everyone price their items at?
I generally do 1/2 retail (roughly). Last year a local liquor store let me borrow their pricing gun BUT it wasn't as handy as I thought it'd be because by the time my last sale rolled around I just wanted everything GONE and marked everything even lower. This year, I'm just going to use my 3x5 card method and label the *areas* as to what is what :)
