The 'How long will it take you to use 2011 coupons in 2011?' challenge

I'm already committing myself to the 2011 declutter and the lose weight challenges but wanted to come up with a fun one.

Admittedly, I've been a coupon user slacker for the past couple of months and 2011 is the year I get back into it like crazy, so I thought hmmm, I'll keep track of how many coupons I use on each trip and see how long it'll take me to use 2011 coupons.

Everyone is welcome to join along - just reply here to let us know you're in for the challenge and then it's on you to keep track of how many you use, either by editing your post or by adding a new reply to the thread, whatever works for you.

There's no set time limit to reach the goal - I know some will reach it much faster than others, and that's ok. If our faster members reach 2011 and want to start counting again, that's ok too. It'd be cool to see who many 'sets' of 2011 our fasters members can use.

Only 1 rules to this - you can't start until Saturday January 1, 2011!!! But that give us all a few more days to get our coupons organized and ready to be used to our fullest extent.

I will join this thread with the curiousity of finding out how many coupons I actually use over time. I am not in any race or competition to use coupons, as it goes against my goals to Live Off Of My Strockpile and buy only what I need. However I do the occasional FREE or MM using coupons.

I'll join. (I think I've joined all the challenges now, lol). I have been majorly slacking on coupons, and I need to step it up. Food deals, especially. We're stocked to the gills with most HBA items.

Wow, another challenge i can join!!! I have lots of challenges for myself right now lol. I have not really shopped in a while and am currently challenging myself to get my coupons staples, cut, sorted and filed by saturday Jan 1st so I can start shopping The 2nd. I have not money so hopefully I can score some freebies.

I'll leave it up to everyone to decide for themselves if they want ECBs/RRs/UPs and $/$$ to count in their own totals.

Personally I'll be counting $/$$ coupons as well as Store flyer coupons (like the Walgreens) in my totals. I hadn't even considered ECB's and RR's, but yes, I think I'll count those as coupons as well. Although that will mean I'll have to get off the CVS/Walgreens vacation wagon and actually start shopping there again. lol
