    I was 293 pounds on June 1st. My doctor took me off insulin and put me on a new medicine called Victoza. Wonder of wonders, it took away my appetite so I am not craving food 24/7. I started losing weight immediately.

    I now eat 3 (90 calorie) granola bars during the day and diet coke. Eat a small simple dinner and have soup (1 can) if I get hungry in the evenings.

    I have so far lost 49 lbs. I was 293, now 244. I want to reach 240 and then maybe set a goal of 220.

    I am a 6'3" big framed man so I dont want to be considered skinny. Just svelte.

    Wish me luck.

    Wife is loving the new me.

    I am working out with the wife 3 times a week to the Biggest Loser videos ( we have 6 of them).

    Since I went on vacation the second week of July, I have not lost much of the 5# I gained on vacation....it is very upsetting...I have upped my workouts to 45-50 minutes 5-6 times a week (usually 6 but this week it has been 5). I have been trying harder the past 2 weeks and now I am in my "Lady time" so hopefully in a few days I will only be 2 or 3lbs...I was up to 184/185 (from 173-176) and last time I stepped on the scale it was 181-hoping I will be under 180 in a day or two-I seem to gain 2-3 lbs around this time in water weight.

    I have been outta the loop. Was up to 195. Been eating healthy and working out on my eliptical everynight (minus the night i had a massive migrain) and have so far lost 3 pounts.
    Mini goal is to be 160 by the end of the year so I can start the new year off with only having to lose 25 lbs AND KEEP IT OFF!

    I'm still at 160. Lost my motivation about 4 months ago but I haven't gain any weight back. Just need to get my arse in gear and shed the last 10 pounds to reach my goal. Time to start keeping my food journal again and working out.

    Ok everyone how did you all do.
    I actually only lost 1-2 lbs and have put it on again. So my weight is the same. I would hate to think what I would be had I not worked out so much during the summer. Havent been working out that much lately sick and visitors coming and going.

    But over all a good year I hope next year is better.
