Since I'm a snacker, I eat a lot of yogurt, granola and cereal bars (like Special K) and soup is a lifesaver.
I make my own with chicken or beef broth and lots of veggies - onion, bell pepper, corn, peas, green beans, carrots, etc and a little bit of pasta or beans too. Just whatever I feel in the mood for or what I have on hand. I can add canned or frozen veggies too and that makes it easier and cheaper to make. I just get out my big pot and make a week's worth at once.
Soup is filling and comforting, so it's a huge helper in my regular diet.
