I plan on starting back on my fitness DVD for 1/2 hr to 1 hr per day its the Jillians bootcamp workout
Hi all, I thought I'd start a brand new exercise/get moving thread for the new year.
I'm personally going to continue with my walking to begin with, then adding strength
training, stretching and what have ya as I get fitter.
Y'all come and join me.

I am going to try to get some type of exercise everyday. I got some fresh air by riding my bike 2 miles today.
I'll join....just joined Weight Watchers, so I need to get moving and this will motivate me....of course I'll have to start tomorrow, since I just saw this thread.......at least that is what I am telling myself...
I walked my dog today...does that count?....I will walk further tomorrow...
I say anything that gets you moving counts....lol, have to work my way up to a bootcamp workout.
I would love to be able to do that sometime this year.

I just finished the first 30 day challenge on Wii Active, level hard. I plan to do another 30 day plan with increased intensity. I am working through the 30 day challenge with Active: More exercises, level hard.
I normally do both Active and Active: More exercises together 5x's a week (one morning, one night). Due to days off via the programs, that did not happen this week. I'd hope to work out with More exercises tonight. My thighs are killing me from the work out today--More exercises tomorrow.
I always walk up and down stairs wherever available. This means 2-3 flights of stairs everyday. I also carry heavy packages or whatever with weight when I can. The resistance provided by the weight increases metabolism and burn calories.
I live off of a bus line so I tend to take the bus and walk for hours during the spring and summer. Many days, I walked so much, the math showed I ended the day with 300 unused calories.
I plan to find more ways to move!

Shoveled a lot of snow, ran up and down the stairs, and more exercises after dinner. This is the first I've shoveled since my weight loss and work outs. I was surprised how easy it was to remove the snow.
