I need to do some DEEP cleaning, you know, the little things that get overlooked. So I started a series on my blog where I am going to pick one thing, like today it is the microwave, I am going to take before and after pictures and I encourage you to too! I would love to have a collection of pictures of your before/after microwaves! I already have mine up!

Alright, I'm in!
Mine needs to be cleaned as well. Nice job BTW - looks great!
I cleaned my microwave really good last weekend - and I have to admit it was gross. I think it, along with the toaster oven, often get overlooked.
I saw you said to put a wet sponge inside and heat it up. this may work, but you take a chance in the sponge starting on fire. A possibly better and cheaper idea you might want to try. Cut a lemon in 1/2, put in a microsafe bowl/measuring cup. Put in some water... 2 cups ought to work. Enough to float the 1/2 lemon. Turn the microwave on for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. once the microwave beeps, let it sit with the door closed for another 10-15 minutes. The water will make the grease, grime ect just slide right off. The lemon will make it smell fresh. HTH

thanks!! It literally took like 5-10 minutes, and thats just because I was so slow and took a break after spraying it!
The jobs will stay small- dont worry! LOL
feel free to link to a picture at flickr or something on the blog if you want me to upload them to the post for ya!
