Hi!
I am Lori and I am addicted to carbohydrates. My ideal last meal would be garlic bread with mashed potatoes washed down with Margaritas.
I have hypothyroidism and have blown up to 188. I have recently started to work out at Curves again and follow Weight Watchers after taking a 6 month break.
Anyone else with a wacky thyroid had success at losing weight?
I am going to have to have surgery to have a huge nodule removed, but that's another thread all together.
OK, come on, tell me I can do it!!

Thanks MV! Our Curves is having a 'Biggest Loser' type contest. 20 people have signed up, paid $5, and the person who loses the biggest % wins the $100. I'm hoping that helps to keep me motivated.
YW! Have you signed up for our WLC? We are doing weekly weighins, raoks and such. We have folks needing to lose anywhere from 10-75 lbs. You are very welcome if you would like to join,if you haven't already.![]()
I'm hypo and have gained a bunch too. Been dealing with it for about a year and half -- started before that, took me a while to catch on!
I've made a few attempts and finally decided I am knuckling down and losing it. I'm doing Atkins. It works, its not too terribly difficult to stick to, and its fairly easy to follow.
I want to lose 45ish. I went from a size 8 - 10 up to a 16.
