Super Gazelle Aug Goal - No Grocery shopping!!!

Dh and I are following Dave Ramsey's baby steps.
Although we are trying so hard to get a head.
We wish we were doing better, and getting further ahead,
faster then we are.

We have made some huge strides with cutting our budget.
But we are going to try and be really gazelle for the month of
July. But dh has given me a challenge for the month of Aug.
To be SUPER Gazelle, an not do any grocery shopping for the month
of Aug.
I am allowed to buy Milk, eggs, and bread, and pet items (food and litter)
An I am allowed to buy produce once a week at the flea market from the local farms.

But I thought I would take it one step higher.
An not spend any money out of our budget for ANYTHING!
Including Milk, bread and eggs, produce and pet items!

I know I sound crazy, and I am a bit scared that I will make it through the month. But I sure do plan on giving it all I got at least.

We normally budget $35 a week for all food, household and pet items.
I am hoping to put up some auctions and do some trades for cc, gift cards, and free items to help pay for the items I am limited to buying that month.

Going to start trading now, so it won't be such a shock to my system
at the start of Aug.
To start off, I have my first item up for trade!

Wow! I am going to be watching this thread to see how you do. I made a budget of $200 for June and was able to stay under it (including food, hba, diapers for 2, dog food for 1, cleaners, etc) but $0 seems impossible. I would love to see you do it, and I will be watching for ideas. Good luck!!

But no Meijer here.
I did find a sale on Barilla Pasta though.
An will be .50 a box after my coupons.
That is the best deal I have found on Barilla in awhile.
So going to stock up some of them.

Found a good deal on Chicken this week
An got an ad early for next week and there is a good price on
beef and pork. So going to be stocking up on meat.
Then all I have to worry about is everything else. LoL

Going to try and see if I can barter some stockpile
items at the flea market with the produce guy and
also a friend that has a large garden.
I am excited about this!
