Getting Organized - 4/28/08 Thread

Good Morning Everyone!
Another week to get some more organizing done!
I hope you all had a good weekend.
We went to the flea Market on Sunday,
Sold a bunch of Stockpile items and some items from the Garage.
Made $266!!! Planning on going back next weekend with a bunch more items.

Today My Goals Are:

1) Re-Organize my stockpile - It got destroyed on Sat when we were pulling items for the flea market

2) Pull Coupons from papers Start Cutting coupons

3) Print Pricing Signs for the flea market

Besides that I want to ake ite easy today.
We forgot sunscreen yesterday, and so not feeling to great with my sunburn.
Plus I really need to get some of the house cleaned.

Suggtion Tip for the week:
Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!
With organizing try not to just throw things away.
Try to save our landfills, and find other creative ways to get rid of your things. Some ideas are Freecycle, Craigslist, Family, Friends, and thrift stores, etc.
Try to recycle your newspaper at a paperretriever.com bin
to help support a local school or church.
Try to find places to recycle your other items like plastic, glass and aluminum cans, etc.
What are some of your own ideas on getting rid of stuff besides just tossing it into the trash?

My goals for today are:
1. Work (I teach highschool math)
2. Develop a menu for the week
3. Work on stuff for the scholastic Book fair I am putting on at my son's school on Thurs. (tonight after children go to bed)
4. Take tour of preschool that I may be sending my dd to in fall after I get out of school.
5. Balance checkbook and update next months calender while I wait in line at Town Office to sign ds up for Rec. Department's before and after school care.
6. Fold clothes.
7. House neat and tidy at bed time!

Just checking in and giving an update:

2) Pull Coupons from papers Start Cutting coupons - Pulled from papers going to start cutting tonight while I watch tv

3) Print Pricing Signs for the flea market - Still to do

4) Clean up the house - Just have dishes to finish

It is jsut before midnight here.
So figured I would give a quick update before bed.
1) Re-Organize my stockpile - Done! Looks good Before/After pics below

2) Pull Coupons from papers Start Cutting coupons - Pulled from papers going to start cutting tomorrow while I watch tv

3) Print Pricing Signs for the flea market - Couldn't do, realized I need ink! Urgh

4) Clean up the house - Got a good bit of the house clean, but that is an every day thing it is never finished.

I even found more things to fill another tote for the flea market this coming weekend!

3. Fold Laundry...the only thing I didn't accomplish on my list yesterday.

Since you posted on this thread, I will just add to this thread for today.

It is freezing cold here, suppose to be all week.
I hate the cold! Urgh!

Today I plan on:
1. Vacumn
2. Sweep Kitchen
3. Find box of vintage clothes that are buried in the bedroom closet LoL
4. Take some pics of antiques & email that lady that is interested in them
5.Get my inserts from this past weekend cut and sorted

This week my dh is on an odd schedule which lets me get to the boards later in the morning then normal.
I will try to start a new thread for the following day each night so it is ready to go the next AM for whom ever is here.
