What's the best place to use $3 Iams coupon?

Anybody know the best place to use the $3 Iams coupon? I need cat food and there's no size limit on the coupon. A few years ago there was a $5 Iams coupon and I used it at Walmart on the small bags.

I did see Target has trial size Iams dog and cat food for $3 so free after coupon...

Yeah so far that's all I see. Except I probably won't make it to Target and if I did the little bags will probably be gone.

target: trial size are $3 each
walmart: i think it is the same size is $4.50 i believe (or 4.76)
kroger: they have the cat food smaller bags of iams...i think less than $5

i havent checked petsmart yet...might be worth a look to see if they have the smaller bags

I got mine at Target. I have gotten 1 or 2 more coupons from friends and will see where I can still get the best deal. Since I got my sample bags at Target Sunday I'm sure they're gone by now. Hoping to find the best deal for the remaining coupons I have.

I have quite a few of those One Beyond coupons left and keep checking Wal-Mart to see if they restocked them. I'll have to spend $1.48 a bag but still a great price for 3.5 pounds of dog food.

My main Target only had puppy food and senior cat food in that small size. I got one of each - figured I can mix it in the regular Iams. As soon as the cashier saw what I got and my qs, she called the manager. They "let" me purchase it since I only got two bags. It didn't even beep! I'm sure the price on those small bags will be more than $3 next week.

My Target told me that IAMS won't send them anymore of the small bags. Ya, I bet Iams wont - atleast not till after the coupon expires. IAMS makes the small bags, IAMS has alot of say in the pricing of the bags and IAMS choses the wording and price of their coupons - why even put the coupon out there if you dont want your customers to get to use it.


And what's with Target "letting" you use the coupon. I don't like when cashiers say that - as if they are doing me a favor - as if I am using the coupon improperly and yet they are "allowing" it that time when the coupon is totally being used correctly.

Now I got coupons I can't even use cause no store is keeping this size in stock.

It must have just been the cashier - used it last night - same Target - no hesitation from the cashier. Now I know who to avoid.

Can't beat free, and I got at least 5 more IAMS cat qs, good on the 5.5 lbs or larger. These should help keep me stocked for a while.
