Default PetMeds or other Online pharmacies?

DH just got back from vet picking up the Golden girl's meds. $400!!!! I love the dog, but good grief!! This was for Dasiquin and Dermaxx.

Our vet is not particulary expensive, and she is excellent (Cornell veternary school) but the cost of meds would be a 2/3 on one of the on-lines.

    Any experience? Thoughts? Advice?

This won't save ya much - but there is a printable rebate for Dasuquin - at the nutramaxlabs.com - $3 for the chewable pills or $5 on the softchews. You can do it a couple of times a year (I JUST mailed mine on Monday or I could tell ya exactly) Dasuquin has made a HUGE difference in my dog - results took about 1 month & 1/2 to see but he is like a new puppy!! He's been on it a couple of years now & I won't let him miss a day!!

There is also a printable rebate for the Dermaxx at dermaxxrebates.com - I do not know for how much because you have to register & create a profile to get the info on it.

Hope this helps a few $$!!

(I buy all of my pet meds/food at my vet's office - except for his insulin - he takes the human kind - so that I buy at a regular drug store) I love-love-love my vet!!!)

The Dasiquin is on ebay. I buy my dog Cosequin DS on there for a portion of the price. Never had an issue. The Dermaxx must need a script though.

While you're at it, buy yourself some no-chew bandage wrap. My vet wrapped my dog's leg in a piece & charged me 20 bucks! I bought 3 rolls for about 8.00. I'll take it wiff me next time. Hmmmppppffffff!

ETA: Keep in mind that if it does need a script, they'll require you to get one from the vet. Most vets are fine with it, I think. Some might even offer to match their price??? Might be worth a shot.
