HELP! flea infestation

Is there another name for Comfortis? I went to the web site and did a search for Comfortis and nothing showed up.

It worked wonders for our dog and I loved that it was a once a month chewable tablet.

We bought the stuff below.........................DID NOT WORK.

I spent hours reading all the wonderful stuff about it online,the ONLY thing it did for our cat's was cause DRY SKIN and they have scratched sores.

Just thought I would let you know about our experience.

We are noe gonna try bombing with the ADAM'S Fogger's....fingers crossed.

Bummer, I've never heard of this happening. I've only used it on dogs, goats and chicken (to dust themselves with it). I wonder if maybe cats only need a dusting of it. Hope you're cats doing better. I can tell you that our dog had sores and licked the sores which made it worse. All caused by fleas, so we had to not only give him the Comfortis, but also two other meds to clear ever thing up. The other two med's were antiobiotics and an antifungal = because his sores were so bad.

Do you by chance have Pine Tree's? Fleas LOVE them? If, Yes, you will have to keep on top of raking the needles up and BURN them if you can. During the winter months they will hybernate in the needles,then once it starts warming up they go on vacation to any little opening around your house and they will attach themselves to your pets as well as you to get inside.

I never knew that! Is there something you can do to help aid the removal of the fleas from the trees? Can I use sevendust or something like that? We never had much of a problem with our dogs, but since we moved and only have 1 dog now, and live in a dog walking neighborhood, and on top of it being a bad season with fleas, my poor Baylee got 'em....
And nothing seems to help!! And we can't keep her indoors, so that is why i checked this thread...
