Petsmart: free pro plan slices with coupon

i dont know the end date of this deal yet. but petsmart has the purina pro plan slices for $2.49

2/27 inserts had a $2.50/1 coupon. expires 05/31/2011.

if anyone has a chance to go today, please check the end date and update.

Tough Snausages! The last time I went to Petsmart & left with nothing, my dogs pulled out their marshmallow guns & I almost ended up in jail!

How many of these were y'all able to find? I've only found 8, but I got rainchecks at two stores. Did ya know Petsmart gives out rainchecks? I didn't.

I found 4 last Saturday. They told me they would get another truck on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday - didn't get any in but would get a truck this morning so come in after 10. None on this truck either. Can you see where this is going? The manager used his inventory gun and said he would get some Tuesday - 4 of them. I told him that would not work for me so he offered a rain check. He asked how many I wanted and I said as many as he would allow. So he said "A reasonable amount.... 3, 6 ...12". So I have a rain check for 12 and he said he would order a sufficient supply for me but it will be the end of the week before they will be in. Getting dangerously close the the expiration date of the coupon.

This really makes me question their marketing strategy. They knew there was a sale going on. The warehouse had 1500 of them last Wednesday. Did they just not want to bother with the coupons? I'll bet I don't get my 12 before the coupons expire. I think corporate is going to hear from me on 5/31. I'll try to be nice but don't count on it.
