Default Where can I get a GD on dog treats?

    Hey everyone

I don't own a dog but I treat my neighbor's dog often. Are there any current good deals on treats for large dogs? My local stores include the usual bevy of national/drug stores, and Price Chopper NE/Hannaford grocery stores.

    TIA!

I did pretty well at target one week. Not Free, but pretty good.

I used the Purina Busy Brand Chew Treat, any (1) Free WYB (1) Purina Beggin' Brand Dog Snack, any - 07-11-10 SS - valid up to $3.99 at Target.

the smallest bag of Beggin Strips were $2.59 (there are other sizes, but of course, more expensive). I was able to find 4 different varieties of Busy Brand chew treats. Did 4 times, so got

4 6oz bags of Beggin Strips
1 busy Rollhide (Free after q)
2 busy bone packages (Free after q)
1 bag of Busy chewnola (Free after q)
    ---------------------------
at 2.59 for each of the Beggin Strips, that was just over 10 dollars.

Of course, I don't know what you want to spend, but I thought it was a good deal.

I don't know how much you want on hand, or how often you give the treats but you can get a 20 lb box of Diamond dog biscuits for $14.95 at Pet and Kennel Supply. When you buy in bulk you can save a lot more money in the long run.

    Diamond Medium Golden Biscuits

They have other treats there that start at $1.99 if you go to their treat page, it's a good deal if you need something else.

Personally I like the big box better

Like drexelgrad2008, I buy most of mine at Target. It's a little late for me to come up with specifics , but I know when my husband saw me with three things of dog treats at Target the other day, he told me that we didn't really need any more treats and I should only buy the one. I explained that buying all three actually turned out to be cheaper than buying just the one! I also had the Busy Bone Free Q. Plus, I had Target Home Mailer Qs for Beggin' strips, so it worked out really well for me...well, for my dogs, actually! Good luck!
I'm trading again, but sometimes it takes a few days for me to respond with an infant in the house!
