Poll: How many pets do you have?

I voted 4+, but not sure exactly what counts.

I have an Aussie (Australian Shepherd dog) - Duchess ~ 4 yrs old

There are three horses living at my house. One is my aunt's - she lives in FL, but I'm keeping her horse here in TX so she doesn't have to pay board. All are Arabians. Shiloh - 12 yr old bay is my riding horse; Laara - 21 yr old gray can be ridden; Pia - 26 yr old fleabitten gray is my aunt's and has never had a saddle or bridle on.

Then there is that cat - Ranger - gray and white - he isn't "mine", he's a stray that has been hanging out for a few years; after the first winter he spent in my garage, I've been feeding him.

I also have ~ 20 - 21 chickens.

One dog that we got from the Humane Society. She's a mix of Pointer and Spitz and very active and lovable.

Our other pet is a black cat the husband found at the dumpster. Miss Kitty is friendly on her terms. Doesn't like to be picked up and will run away from you if you approach her but if she wants to be fed then she gets friendly.
Very aloof.

We have one inside (new) kitten. Haven't named him yet. DH surprisingly brought him home on mother's day. Someone had him in a cage on the side of the road. :action-smiley-016:
We have an outside cat, Kayla.
And an inside Bull Terrier dog, Zeus!

we have a one yr old border collie and some gold fish....we absolutely love our doggie

Oscar, a Dachshund rescue, unknown age
Scout, a spoiled rotten unberable Dachshund, 3
Susanna, Scout's little Dachshund sister, 1
Ringo, a rescued Border Collie, unknown age
Sophie, a hateful three year old solid black cat
Scruffie, a precious male cat whom we assumed, wrongly, was female. (How stupid can I get? Must have been sleep deprived.) and
"The Wiggy Wats"--five offspring of Sophie and Scruffie. Since my son has bonded with the Wiggy Wats I can't bring myself to find homes for them. I guess they're his now......Sophie has now been spayed, female Wiggies on their way soon.

We have
1 Shetland Pony-Baby-When we got her she was about starved to death. You could see her ribs and spine. When she tried to walk she would take a few steps and fall. I had to feed her small amounts 3 times a day to keep her from founding. It was 7 days after we got her before she pooped. I was so glad to see horse poop.

1 Pigmy Goat-Booboo-All my dd wanted for Christmas was a goat. I had a friend send her a letter from Santa explaining that it was too cold for a goat to be in his sled and Mom would get her one for her Birthday. Christmas morning Pap,my Dad,called me and ask if Ashley could have a goat. He said it was pretty as a picture and if she couldnt have it he was going to get it for himself. I told him it was fine for her to have the goat. I couldnt say no to my Daddy. He brought this baby goat in and told Ashley "Santa might not have been able to bring you a got but Pap could" Oh if you could have seen her face.

1-Fiest Dog-Happy-Ashley got her for her Birthday last year.

2-Fiest Puppies-Buddy is Ashleys and Snoopy is mine. They are Happys babys. I was going to let her keep Buddy. We gave Snoopy away 3 times and they each brought him back. I told Snoopy that was enough he could be my baby and we kept him.

4 Chickens and 1 Rooster-They are from eggs that we hatched in an encubator.

I love pets and would have an empty boring house and life without

I have:

2 chis (one a dog that is a biter and was rescued from animal shelter)
1 maltese (a puppy mill rescue - she loves to sit outside in back yard
all afternoon)
1 bichon frise
1 cairn terrier

1 cat (a shelter animal)

2 parakeets (someone did not want them and I offered to take them)

4 year old Golden Retriever named Sammy
1 1/2 year old Goldendoodle (half Golden Retriever, half Poodle) named Cooper

2 cats:

4 year old Himalayan, named Ellie
2 year old Persian, named Smokey

2 Tiny Toy Pomeranians named Bear & Kiara (my pride and joys!)
1 ChowBea (Chow/Beagle Mix) named Boudreaux (inherited from MIL as she moved into an apartment where she can't have pets)
1 Blue Chow named Boatswain (adopted us about 2 weeks ago, he's beautiful and the most mellow guy, have been unable to locate his family)

Hopefully one day we'll be able to have a country home so that we can have more, but this is more than enough for our little home (esp since they are all inside dogs!)
