Poll: How many pets do you have?

We have one black cat appropriately named Raven. With 3 kids, one pet is more than enough.

Someday I would love to get a Basset Hound though..

None now. We had a 10 year old black lab who was the best dog in the world but we had to put him to sleep on Wednesday. He had bone cancer and was reaching the point where walking was very hard for him. He still had a good disposition (we were giving him pain meds from the vet, so he was fairly comfortable) and was still eating well. It was a heart-wrenching decision and the first time I"ve had to do this. I miss him more than I ever would have imagined. I swore we wouldn't get another dog as we travel a lot and have to board the dog when we go. (We live in the country too far away from family to ask them to help. We do have one neighbor who has helped on occasion, but hate to ask all the time.) Dh asked on Wednesday night, though, if we should get a puppy. I can't believe I'm considering it! The house just seems so empty without a pet......

I don't have any pets. It seems we're never at home to be able to take care of them.

we have about 12 fish. We would love a dog, but are never home. The kids really want one, so maybe next summer!!

1 beagle, 1 black lab, 2 guinia pigs, 4.5 cats, one is a stray that comey buy once in awhile, 3 newts and 2 frogs as of today.

I have 1..very picky..very lazy and getting old & fat......just like her Mom......cat!

Her name is..... Ms."P".....she's single and fixed and proud of it!

She is a beautiful..I do not exagerate.....Calico/Persian mix....multi colored ...with a white tummy and perfect white.. go..go..boots!

I LOVE HER!!.....she was a stray and I don't regret taking her in...we have been pals now for...7..years.....!!

We share toast in the morning...she likes butter!!....she doesn't know I use fat free.............HA..HA....!!
