Just thought I would throw this out there... I have a golden retriever - who costs about 50 dollars each time I get her cut. I discovered last year that buying a good pair grooming sheers - like 60 dollars or so - really does cut her just as well as the professionals and it is paid for after basically 1 cut. Just a thought... I had always thought it would be a nightmare to groom/shave my dog myself - until I tried it and now I save a ton of money doing it myself... just thought I would throw the idea out there.
My dogs hair is not long. He is a lab so i do not need to cut his hair, but thanks for the tip He is just a smelly smelly dog who has horrible dry skin that itches sometimes.
I traded for all I could get out of an Entertainment booklet. There were two different ones floating around our school, though, so check first before purchasing.
For the oatmeal bath you can easily take a half a half cup to quarter cup regular old fashioned oatmeal and out it in your food processor, pulverize it, mix it with the shampoo, and bath. The oatmeal is also a absorber and will help lots with a stinky dog.
