    Default Help-Need New Dog Food!

My dog Molly abolutely loved WholeMeal bones-the meals in the shape of bones.

They discontinued them some times ago, and we ran out of our last bag.

Well, she doesn't believe me when I tell her that the store does not have them.

She doesn't like the dog food we have tried so far. She has gone so far in her search for "chew/bone" that she actually chewed on the bird's seed stick!

I don't want to load her up on a bunch of chew treats.

Does anyone have some good ideas for dog food? Anything in the shape of a bone that is more food and less treat?
Mother to three...four if we count my doodle.

Purina Chef Michaels - is a good food - my dog loves it - it is not in the shape of bones but it does have lots of unusual shapes & colors in the package so it's not all brown and all one size - it's got some big chunks and stuff... My dog loved it when I got her some... and she is kinda picky... just a suggestion, don't know if your dog will like it though.

Have you looked for a similar product like Whole Meals ? I know other companies have something similar to them or at least used to. Whole Meals are still available for sale online if your in a pinch for right now.

Might want to try cooking for him for awhile, or cooking some rice, and vegetables and mixing in with the new dog food you choose to make it more appetizing. You can cook a large batch of rice and veggies on a weekend, make enough for the week and add at breakfast and dinner. You can even warm in before you mix in into his dog food to make it more alluring --this is a vet trick for picky eaters.
