I have never seen a boston with this condition. But I have heard of them having to do surgery on the eye for this condition.
We have two Boston Terriers. We rescued a male Boston when he was 8 months old. He is now 2 and we have just received a female Boston who is 1 year old. My son's friend had her and she was just a little too active for them. They have the best personalities. They are active and do like to chew. Yes, make sure you have toys and rawhide. Ours also do not like the cold. We have a small fan forced space heater in our kitchen and they will sit right up in front of it. And they loved to be tucked in blankets at night.

Yay for new dogs! Be sure to post pictures!
They are more prone to eye injuries. This acually goes for all buggy eyed breeds like Shih Tzus, Cavaliers, Pekingeses, Pugs, Frenchies, etc.. I have a friend with a Pekignese that injured its eye while playing with her other dog. Almost had to have the eye removed but she ran her straight to the emergency clinic and they saved the eye.
