Please Read about my Missing Yorkie /Video

I've been a member for about a year now and I have not been on for a few weeks since I joined. I lost my male Yorkie named Cookie. I can write a million words and nothing comes close to describing how devastated I am, how devasted my husband and children are. I have never seen my husband cry so much in 19 yrs as I have in these two past weeks.

Our yorkie must have slipped through a small hole in the fence while out to go potty. I was watching them through the window and I dont know when he went missing but I opened the sliding door and he was the only one missing.

Date: 11-15-09 (Sunday afternoon)
I am offering a large reward that I am borrowing from my mother.

I just want to say that my heart goes out to you. This same thing happened to us on Nov. 17th when our male pug Scrappy disappeared between the hours 2-4pm.
We had only had him 17 days when he went missing. I honestly believe in my heart of hearts that he was stolen. He loved to ride in cars and never met a stranger. This we learned about him a day too late. He wasn't with us very long but we are very fond of pugs (as we also have a female pug) and had another pug before that. Scrappy pug hugged his way in to my heart in such a short time. My heart is so broken and the loss is indescribable. So believe me when I say I feel your pain.

Also I wanted to ask if you have tried contacting amber pet alert [dot] com?
They will notify all the animal shelters, vets, police, etc. within up to a 200 mile radius and make up posters as well.

So far our baby has not turned up, but we keep hoping and praying...and waiting.
I hope that your fur baby is returned to you soon!

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know what I would do if one of my babies went missing. I am praying someone finds him and brings him home. God bless you and your family

Gennel, I think I read your post over on yorkietalk a week or so ago. (I have the same username over there.) I'm so sorry about your little furbaby. I hope you are able to find him.

I don't know if you've done this but I am subscribed to numerous dog groups on yahoo that are local to my area, and people are always posting lost and found dogs on there. If you haven't already, find local groups in your area and post there. As I'm sure you know, people in the dog community really stick together.

I am sorry to hear your beloved pet is missing. I know I would be heart broken if my dog went missing...I did put him in the fenced back yard one evening to use the bathroom after my husband had been working in the yard, my husband came to me about 10 minutes later and asked where he was, I said that I had put him out back and he said, as he ran to the door, "oh no, I left the gate open" and my heart flew into my throat as I raced to the front door to start running through the neighborhood looking for him. Well, when I flung the front door open, what did I see...my wonderful boxer sitting, staring at the door, looking at me like "what the heck took you so long to open the door".

I hope you get that wonderful feeling of relief soon yourself!!

I hope you find your baby soon. I had similar experience like crecian had, except mine was hiding under the car in the garage, and I was a wreck for those few minutes, I can only imaging if it had been more than that. I hope he turns up soon. Be sure to let us know!!

This just makes me cry, I cannot imagine losing my Ginger. I hope and pray Cookie comes back to you. Also check your Craiglists posts, a lot of people post found animals there as well. I sincerely hope you find Cookie.
