Mighty Dog MM at Dollar General

I had 6 Free Mighty dog coupons from the 6/14 SS. The only place I found the single cans was Dollar general for .60 each. All the coupons scanned $1.00 so I had a $2.40 MM and didn't realize it.

I got 4 Electrasol Finish, 10 Kool-Aid, 1 - 4lb sugar, and 6 cans Mighty Dog for .54¢ !

Congrats!!!!! I picked up the same cans at my local g-store on sale for .60 they gave me credit for the reg price of .69. My coupon wouldn't scan-the price had to be entered-the stupid machine kept saying "exceeds amount". :sad: Next time I'll go to $ Gen first. Thanks for the heads up.

you mean it just scanned and took off $1 instead of prompting cashier to enter sale price @ .60?

If it beeped, I never heard it. Cashier didn't say a word either. I don't recall seeing a dollar amount for the single can on the coupon, I think it addressed the "package" price" ie: free can or save up to $xx on 6 pack. I was surprised myself. Didn't realize it until I got home and looked at the receipt.

that's great if it scans outright for $1. if you'll notice max value of coupon is up to $1 as shown in the box where they write the amount.

I did this at WalMart yesterday (our DG doesn't have it or I woulda been there, lol). I got 20 cans and all 20 coupons scanned $1, no beeps, no problems. The cans were .57 each.

Cool, I will have to try this....don't know if I should go to DG or WM! Probably DG since it's right here in town! My dog will be thrilled to have moist food again, he hasn't had it since he had his jaw messed up and couldn't chew the other stuff without yelping in pain! (But, he's better now!)
